Pink Clove

This week i have added another animal to the zoo that is my wardrobe. Dalmation print is one i hadn’t tried yet but was itching to get my teeth into. There has been so much leopard and zebra around that this pattern something different to give a go. It’s from an online brand called Pink Clove, who stock from sizes 16 up to a 26/28. I am familiar with the brand after shopping it on ASOS over the years. They kindly let me choose an outfit to try out and report on. Pink Clove Being monochrome this print is right up my street. The dress itself has a gorgeous silhouette. It gives my waist great shape with the cut and…

Red Jumpers

I am still wearing a red jumper that i got well over a year ago, a lot. Everytime i share it though i get asked is it current stock. Although Penneys have restocked similar, there are so many others options that i’ve seen around. I decided to pop them all in one handy place along with some chit chat and outfit inspo. You know how this blog thing works. Red Jumpers It’s not exactly ground-breaking news but i am a bit of a fan of red. I have been told that it is my colour. It suits my colouring and tone and i enjoy how it looks. It’s a fun statement colour that can easily add a pop where needed.…

Fifty Friday | Holiday Dreaming

It’s been a minute i know but hopefully this makes up for the extended break. I had a little think about what topic to go with. The weather was to pick up this week, what happened? That only calls for one thing. Lots of looks to get you excited for the Summer to come and lets face it keep us going. So here i am putting together some beach/ holiday/ pool looks to mainly keep me ticking over until sunnier times or we are blown away with Dorothy. Whichever happens first. I have been trying to hold off on Summer shopping but i think when it comes to swimwear you have to strike while the iron is hot. Sizes get…

River Island SS19 Preview

Here are some of the highlights and stand out pieces from the River Island Spring Summer 19 press day. A little look at what we can expect in the coming season. There was 3 main sections or trends shown and also some swim and beachwear. A wish list full of bright beautiful pieces for Summer. River Island SS19 The first thing i noticed was lots of warm neutrals and muted tones coming through for Spring. Also that Animal print is certainly sticking round but evolving in a new direction. Very safari chic. Lots of the print is seen with complementory gold medalion jewellery. Jungle luxe if you will. Very reminisant of retro Versace, that sort of vibe. A stand out…

Shaggy Cardigans

I had wanted one of these shaggy cardigans for ages. It got to the stage where i was quizing people about their Nanny’s knitting skills. Not that many brands where doing them and the ones who where well the price was just outta the question. Of course Penneys saved the day. I was so chuffed that i was straight in after a hospital trip to nab myself and my sister one. I’ve been wearing both colours since. Firstly with jeans and boots but mostly with a t-shirt, leggings and vans. Casual but extra. They are so cosy. Warm but they don’t suffocate you. Not as bulky as a big coat either which i love as the sweatiest person in Ireland.…
