The illusive River Island sale is upon us. A much sought after, in demand event that seems to gauge the same reaction each and every time. The chance to nab some beautiful pieces that you have been lusting after for a fraction of the price. The River Island Plus sale is really good this time round with some great bargains to be had. With RI Plus only being available online to us, this is a great time for plus ladies to shop the category. With jackets, jumpsuits, dresses, jeans and tops all heavily reduced. Some swimwear too if you are lucky enough to be heading away for some Winter sun. I find RI Plus to fit really well and i’ve…

I love shopping, i think that goes without saying, but i’m not into actually going into the shops all that much. I am however a massive fan of online shopping. I know you can’t get a proper feel of fabric or fit through a screen but there are a lot of other benefits. I’ve got to know my postman much better lol.   First off, it is so much easier to navigate around a site than a messy shop. A lot of my favourite shops let me down when it comes to their layout and in-store customer service. I find the rails can be very packed making it almost impossible to look at sizes or styles that are crammed in at the back. I also feel…

I was lucky enough to get away again, for my annual birthday trip to Turkey. This called for some new Summer bits for a little freshen up against some firm favourites. I said i would put together a quick little Turkey lookbook of some of the outfits that i wore. Hopefully it might serve as some inspo for those who are yet to go away or are lucky enough to have some Winter sun booked.   Turkey Lookbook   The colour palette was pretty standard for me with red’s present and the colour of the summer – yellow. I also gave some blues a go and was pretty happy with the results. Bardot necklines a plenty as standard. Hello it…

White boots – the marmite of footwear. No not Crocs , don’t even go there. There once was a time where those two words in the same sentence would be enough to make me shudder. * White Boots * . Oh how times have changed. Fashion is funny that way. White footwear in general used to be considered on the tacky side. I hang my head in shame at the ones i wore circa 2004. Kitten heels no less. I don’t do things by halves me. A few years back now i shocked myself and picked up a pair of cut-out boots in the notorious white. I’m talking recent years here. They made for great summer wear with little floral…

Recently i was asked on the new Instagram Stories Questions feature , what where my wardrobe staples? Without hesitation i answered with jackets. I included and extended that heading to biker , denim and khaki jackets. There is something so effortless yet cool about a khaki or camo print jacket. Retro , edgy but extremely wearable. The ideal option for festival season in my opinion layered over a little dress and some boots. Also fitting for an All Saints tribute band?     I’ve a few different styles in my wardrobe and i’ve seen lots of options available that i thought this warrents a post. I did mention my V By Very Camo jacket in my latest Fashion Favourites post…
