I have started to compile pieces to put together some festive looks. It is the time of year that has more going on than ever and with so many places/things to go to outfits are needed. I spied something that stopped me in my tracks and i said i best get it out quickly. This polka dot tulle skirt! I actually bought the dress option but given my fall i’d not been able to show it off before it sold out. What a shame because it’s a great little number to have for Christmas dressing. With the skirt still in stock i thought ok get some ways to wear done quick Kiera! So here we are. Tulle has been pretty…

As i joyfully announced the other week Carraig Donn have introduced a curve range in sizes 16-28. Yay! I was delighted when they reached out and asked did i wanna try some bits.? Umm yeah! Inclusivity is something i live for and it really gets my blood pumping when i see more and more brands moving forward in the right direction. I am familiar with CD as a brand after styling some looks using their pieces for In Tallaght Magazine. That and my mother is obsessed with their homewares. So down to the nitty gritty with things worth a mention. Personally i found the sizing really good. I had a little bit of room in the pieces i tried, just…

Changing up the meaning of the famous abbreviation ‘ LBD ‘ to what it means to me Summer after Summer. Little boho dresses really epitomise Summer. Soft , light and so care-free. Minus the fear of a spillage that is. Boho or bohemian style go hand in hand with the season. Whether it is holidays, BBQ’s or festivals , this choice of dress has got you covered. Think smock and floaty styles in lightweight fabrics. Lace and crochet play a heavy part too. Little Boho Dress I touched on festivals briefly above and honestly any festival inspo posts that I’ve ever done have had little white / cream floaty dresses featured. If i remember right my go to way to…

The supermarkets are absolutely killing it on the style stakes. Seriously affordable fashion that is rivaling all of the high street stores. George at ASDA is right up there too. They have been popular for kids clothes for awhile now but i really see their Womenswear progress. Not just your run of the mill standard basics. There are some really cool and different pieces. You may have seen that i recently wore a dress from George to my friends wedding. It was an absolute steal at a fiver! Yes you read that right – A FIVER! The print is really different and keeping with the mix print trend. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Kiera ♡ (@justthefwordblog)…

As i browse online, ya know the usual, i’m seeing more and more mixed print pieces. Not just in the shops but in my wardrobe too. Clashing prints has been a very high fashion way of styling that has been around forever. But of late i’m noticing that it is all being done in the one garment. This has taken all of the work out of this statement trend and made it a really easy wear. I have tried a few options and ways over the last few months and with no sign of the trend going anywhere yet i said i would sit down and put it altogether. Mixed Print There are basically two ways to achieve this look…
