I haven’t been lucky enough to be going to any festivals this year (insert sadface). Didn’t stop me from compiling outfits for the occasion but. Here is my first pick of the pile “a break in-case of  miracle” if u will, and we happen to blessed with warm weather. I am loving the kimono trend that has dominated this summer. This New Look lace and fringe number ticks all the boxes. Denim shorts are a fail-safe for festivals so goes without saying.I am head over heels literally for these gladiators-HIGH-5 RIVER! I absolutely love everything about them. minus the rain means minus the muck at festivals allowing these babies to be rocked. A simple white vest accompanied by a lion chain…

Errrrrrm WOW! Now this is a campaign. Following in the footsteps of best friend Cara Delevigne, Ms Ora took to New York to shoot the brands campaign for Resort 14. The Party and b*llsh*t singer proved both her fashion and modelling credentials with these amazing pictures for powerhouse DKNY.  These looks are styled very typical to Rita and emulate down-town New York’s edge and coolness. I love a good campaign and this one certainly did not disappoint. I admit to having a slight girl crush on Rita – as an avid follower of her Instagram account, she is never short of an on-the-money outfit or a flawless face.

Ive never been one for all out Highland get-up but of late i’ve been lusting after a check/tartan skirt. The outfit building part of my brain has been crying out for this piece. I’m thinking paired with a printed tee, biker jacket, opaques and boots this will be a cool A/W outfit. This got me delving into all things tartan and well checking for checks. This trend can be overkill, as you can imagine, but also can be quite quite chic if done well. For those less daring try an accessory first. Most of the below can be done by pairing with a black tee , jeans or leggings and leave the print to do the talking. These TOPSHOP leggings would look…

Wednesday Want #1 by just-kiera So Wednesday’s are now gonna be the glorious days when i compile my weekly wants. A wish list if you will or in my case i really wish list. I’m a high street girl but now and again a designer piece comes along and its list worthy.I’ve been needing some new biker boots and have been totally obsessed with the TOPHOP Arabel boots for ages now so I suppose the River Island boots below would be a good combo. Beanies have been huge and this cross detail one is right down my alley. The hot pink satchel has become more and more appealing to me of late. I like satchel bags but this shade is too beautiful.i love all things…

I’ve just spied a look at a few pics from the ASOS Christmas Range and i have to say i am far from disappointed.  I know what everyone is thinking- Christmas in July? Afraid so guys, its that time again when our favourite retailers let us into a peek at things to come for the season ahead. I am a huge ASOS fan and their own range never fails me. I was super excited for a peek at these beauties. The Details shown have the festive period written all over them. As luxurious and plush as ever, the online retailer looks to be pulling all the punches for the colder months to come. The usual metalics and luxe for Christmas…

I for one am loving the return of the backpack. Gone were the nasty school bags days, until the 90’s rebounded back into our lives this summer. With so many variations, this is one of few functional fashion items. The hands free side is an added plus which makes the backpack ideal for holidays and festivals. Back to Backpacks by just-kiera featuring a printed backpack River Island strap backpack, €23 / Topshop bag €50 / River Island black and white bag, €17 / Crochet bag, €29 / Vintage floral bag, €23 / Topshop printed backpack €50 / Topshop backpacks bag, €32

Yesterday’s June Tuesday saw Bloggers and press alike gather in the Chocolate Factory in Dublin’s city. This amazing space was home to the much anticipated Penneys A/W showcase. Penny’s who also trade as Primark , have long been a staple for Irish fashion at affordable prices. its stature on our high street is ever growing. Come on girls have all replied “Penny’s…a fiver!” when complimented on something we are wearing. This A/W has shown no different. Ever present affordable staples and basics to trend driven pieces. For me emphasis was placed on adornment. Jewels and sequins were apparent on dresses and knits. Very rich textures were seen including; quilted leathers, bouclé knits, metallics, studs, from baroque prints to tartans.Overall a colourful and luxurious A/W drop. Accessories as ever with Penneys were bang on…
