My hair is the vain of my life. I’ve lost count of the amount of times I’ve been close to pulling a Britney. It’s neither curly nor straight, just frizzy and unruly. Forever in search of sleek, shiny, smooth hair. Thankfully my prayers were heard and answered. Reflections Hair and Beauty Tallaght has had a huge makeover recently. Along with the face-lift comes some really talented, current stylists using the latest services and techniques. This is were my savior comes in. A stylist by the name of Jess has joined the Reflections team. Having had the pleasure of working with Jess previously on shoots that i have styled, i knew her work well. While chatting about her new position and my awful…

It was last week when this little beauty buy came onto my radar. One of those a friend of a friend told me things. My handy to have little sister flew to our local Lidl and picked me up one. Parting with a mere €14.99 for the ultimate relaxed, soft beach waves, was something i was more than glad to do. Let me just say that i suck at doing hair, my own more than any. Finding a tool that aids me with this in any way is always welcome in my eyes. I am really happy with my new shorter cut so i figured this wand could create that much desired perfect Summer hair. Yes aesthetically this does look like another…

I’ve been looking for some new holders for my brushes for awhile now. Something different and fun to look at, seen as ill see them everyday. Any pots or jars i initially liked made the brushes hard to reach for. Nobody got time for that. Whilst browsing the homewares aisle of Dealz i saw these ice-cream sundae glasses. I was drawn to the retro shape, that sort of diner style. With a bit of imagination and the Barney bag i thought my brushes would be right at home in these. I wasn’t wrong. They are not very wide so i nabbed two, one for my face brushes and the other for the eyes. They are currently loving life, front and…

A good multi use product goes along way. Something that not only saves money, is really handy and is good for the environment. What’s not to love. As the title suggests toothbrushes are a great hack for multi uses. They are something we all have. Well should have. As your Dentist recommends, toothbrushes should be replaced every six months. Not only that but you can pick up packs for little or nothing now-a-days. For a couple of euro or less, to be able to do all of the below is really appealing to me. As long as you steralise the brushes before use they will cause you no harm. A good way to recycle and cut down the amount of…

Doctor Fish? I needed a doctor alright. The irony of the name. Never, ever again. What was i thinking putting myself in that position all in the name of pretty feet. let’s face it, feet are ugly and anything we can do to help that we do try. This was a step too far…literally. Here is my story about the one and only time i had a fish pedicure. As flip-flop season comes upon us we attempt to make our trotters more human like after the cold winter. I am not one of those lucky folk with pretty soft feet. This new craze has taken off and everyone seemed to be jumping to try it. Fish pedicures were all the…
