Penneys Hun – We’ve all said it. Doesn’t bare thinking about what we would do without our beloved Penney’s though. Primark , Preeemark , Pennaaaas , call it what you will , it’s bleedin’ deadly. Making fashion affordable since 1969. To think it all started on our little green isle all those years ago and today it’s taking over the world one store at a time. Forget Daniel O Donnell Penneys is our national treasure. Not many other places where you can get a whole outfit or update your home for under €50. Penneys for president lol.   As with every Fifty Friday, all looks come in or around the fifty euro mark for a full outfit. This weeks are all…

A sale buy is only really a bargain if you are going to actually get good wear or use from your purchase. Tempting as it is to go crazy when we see the word SALE , it can be a waste of money. Generally with sales, stores are getting rid of past season stock to make way for the new gear to arrive. Those kind of sales aren’t always the best. Now and again though a sale can come along and have a lot of really decent lines reduced. Lines that can still be worn and will be worn as the season changes. Just this week that happened. The infamous River Island sale dropped and as usual there was huge…

Happy Friday peeps! I’ve been thinking if i ever need a week to fly by, i just need to do a Fifty Friday post. It only feels like I’ve done the latest when it is time for this weeks edition. Speaking of the last post , i included a look featuring a slip style dress. These type of dresses are really popular at the moment. More wearable than you would first imagine too. Hey here is this weeks theme right there. Off in search of some affordable options i went and i was not disappointed. I hope you aren’t either.   You can see all details from last weeks post here.

Slowly getting back into the swing of things after an amazing summer. But as they say, all good things must come to an end. The silver lining? New season = new wardrobe. The excitement of new pieces hitting the shops is on par with Christmas. Fresh styles and trends to update your looks and wardrobes with, as the weather changes. I have already started working on my Autumn Winter Wishlist. A mix of basics and staples to keep me cosy and cool. Updating your wardrobe as the season changes doesn’t have to break the bank. This edition of Fifty Friday is packed with Autumn friendly looks all coming in around the fifty euro mark. Adding light layers and a touch…

This week’s edition is all about the curvy girls. The ladies with the lumps. Being one of these myself and a lover of all things fashion, i could not be happier that there is now more and more choice. Gone where the days where the only place stocking stylish plus pieces were specialist stores and even they were few and far between. Not to mention expensive. Brands and stores have woke up to the fact that body type have changed. Why should ladies with a little more junk in their trunk be discriminated against with their love of fashion. I had planned to do a post focusing on plus sized style this summer. Merging it with a Fifty Friday means…

This week marked 15 years since the release of Legally Blonde. Queue feeling old. A reliable old rom-com that was crammed full of fashion quotes and memorable looks. I decided this weeks Fifty Friday would pay homage to the great Elle Woods. The below looks all come in under the €50 mark and feature the signature pink. Th colour pink has that really girly-girl type of reputation but can be very chic and modern. This looks below show to Chanel Ms Woods on a day to day basis. Pink Isn’t only for Wednesday’s. Wait that is Mean Girls? You know what i mean.

I initially had two other ideas for this weeks theme for the looks. I got swayed though with some really affordable pieces that will work great for upcoming occasions this summer. Nights out, christenings, parties , maybe even a wedding guest look. Grabbing an new outfit doesn’t have to break the bank. All of the looks below came in under €50 for a whole new outfit. You cannot go wrong when pieces look this good without the price tag to match. The printed H&M dress is absolutely stunning in both shape and cut. This one does definitely not look like a twenty quid dress. I feel this one could really work for a wedding guest look.  You might notice there…

If i could only wear one shape for the rest of my life, i’d choose skater hands down. It is the silhouette that suits me and flatters my shape the most. I actually think they flatter most if not all shapes. For those with curves the skater cut hits you at your narrowest and draws the eye in before falling nicely over the bottom half. For more straight shaped ladies, a skater defines the waist creating an illusion of a curvier shape. A great go to weather it be skirts or dresses for any size. For this weeks collection of looks for under fifty euro i picked to focus on skater dresses. One piece and you are dressed. Easy peasy. There…
