I was over the moon last Summer when i spotted these flats in Penneys. I had been in the market for some lighter shoes that were still wearable with our bi-polar seasons. The polka dot mesh pattern really resembled a pair of shoes that Zara had ran the year before. Paired with the traditional rafia espadrille sole, It was a combo made in heaven. After some wear last Summer these lovlies were put away with the rest of my flip flops and sandals. With holiday’s aproaching i went to pull out some summer bits and came across these espadrilles. I fell in love all over again.

This week marked 15 years since the release of Legally Blonde. Queue feeling old. A reliable old rom-com that was crammed full of fashion quotes and memorable looks. I decided this weeks Fifty Friday would pay homage to the great Elle Woods. The below looks all come in under the €50 mark and feature the signature pink. Th colour pink has that really girly-girl type of reputation but can be very chic and modern. This looks below show to Chanel Ms Woods on a day to day basis. Pink Isn’t only for Wednesday’s. Wait that is Mean Girls? You know what i mean.

Festival season is in full swing. Longitude kicks off this Weekend with still Electric Picnic to come. You only have to log onto any social media site to see all the snaps and how the style at these events has evolved. I have mentioned before when talking about festival fashion, that this wasn’t always the case. For the longest time the chosen attire was more functional and weather permitting. Although mother nature does still restrict us in ways, it is not the priority. More and more are choosing to really just go for it and have fun. Add some face jewels , a hat , anything goes. Put together something you wouldn’t usually wear and really up the ante. Peacock the sh*t…

I initially had two other ideas for this weeks theme for the looks. I got swayed though with some really affordable pieces that will work great for upcoming occasions this summer. Nights out, christenings, parties , maybe even a wedding guest look. Grabbing an new outfit doesn’t have to break the bank. All of the looks below came in under €50 for a whole new outfit. You cannot go wrong when pieces look this good without the price tag to match. The printed H&M dress is absolutely stunning in both shape and cut. This one does definitely not look like a twenty quid dress. I feel this one could really work for a wedding guest look.  You might notice there…

Hey you, Long time no see. It has been awhile since i last did one of these style posts. I had mentioned on Facebook a few weeks back that i actually didn’t know why i ever stopped doing them. Taking one piece of clothing or accessories and basically putting them into ten different looks. This is a really fun one for me to do, often challenging myself to think outside the box. The premise of these posts are to show how hard your clothes can work for you. We often worry when splashing out on something new, will I actually wear this? You don’t wanna spend a weeks wages only to find that thing you just had to have at…
