Not to get ahead of myself here but this is quite possibly one of the most beautiful dresses to have ever graced my vision. I think i said something similar to this last year about another dress which happened to be lace and also from ASOS. Can you see a theme here?    ASOS is definitely my go-to for occasion wear. They haven’t let me down yet. I have a *cough cough* big birthday coming up that requires a dress. Not that i need reminding of this as i am currently wallowing in a hole dug with my own tears. This is the kind of dress i would choose for said event though. Lace dresses are my absolute favourite. The sleeve detail…

Occasion looks are always highly requested. Be it wedding guest, Christening or Communion mammy, there is always a lot of interest in this topic. Of course we always want to look our best, but when it comes to big occasions we want to look that bit nicer. That and the photos that come back to haunt us lol. I find with most ladies i speak to that the hardest part is finding something appropriate that is also stylish. You want to feel comfortable too and hopefully be able to wear the outfit again. Here i have put together some looks for those big events you have coming up this Spring. As always each look comes in under or as close…

This here is one of the looks that i put together for my church occasions post. The outfit in it’s entirety has now been reduced in the New Look Sale! Yes i am sooo late with this post i know. But look here is an outfit for upcoming Communions / Christenings / Confirmations and Weddings at a bargain price. A great spring colour dress with a very flattering shape. You cannot go wrong with a good skater dress. The lace detail on the waist is really pretty and adds a little something. Keeping the accessories neutral in colour for an understated chic look. Very pretty and simple look with no fuss.  Dress €12 , Shoes €11.20 , Clutch €8 . All New Look

I could waffle on here for two paragraphs but the truth is this is a great skirt. The price is amazing at €14 but that aside the skirt can stand on it’s own. A white, lace, midi skirt that just ticks so many boxes. I tried this on because i thought the own downfall could be how it sits on the body. I was happy with how it looked on. So here it is, a look or two. As with a lot of my styling i love putting tees with dressier skirts. I liked that idea but thought it needed something. These tie hem tees sit really well on the waistband of the skirt. The tie giving that so-called something. The reasoning…

Tonight’s look has a really fresh vibe to it. Clean lines with a pop of colour from the top. The pinstripe midi skirt could be styled to be typically nautical or given a modern twist. I think some people are fearful of what to pair with navy. I like how the yellow looks alongside it and think the top will look great tucked into the skirt. I went with a white mid heel to tie in with the stripe of the skirt but a tan sandal would look well too. Just a little necklace to finish off the bare shoulders. I think i would feel happy wearing this one. Isn’t there something about the colour yellow that makes you happy. I…

I have been eyeing up this top for awhile now. My favourite bardot style neckline in a beautiful lace. I adore the finish on the sleeves and can see how flattering the cut will be on. I have paired it here with something different than my usual A-line skirts. Some really smart culottes in a modern print stripe. The colour palette is really soft and subtle with the light pink as the main tone. The solid black stripe makes them easy to tie in with basic black pieces in your wardrobe. As the pants finish at a culotte length it was a great opportunity to show a sandal with detail. The lace up design adds some interest but keeping them…

As i set down to map out this weeks post i had a completely different idea in mind. After a trip to Penneys and seeing this swimming suit that all changed. I have been trying to hold off on Summer shopping but i think when it comes to swimwear you have to strike while the iron is hot. Sizes get whipped up so quickly and before you know it there is only odds and ends left. Cover ups and accessories are the kind of things you can pick up here and there and you won’t feel it adding up.   When i think back to years ago, basic top and shorts were as exciting as it got. The odd kaftan…

What is in your bag? Phone, keys, perfume, hand cream, make-up, the kitchen sink? We carry around so much everyday including, big bulging, hefty wallets. If you are like me your purse is busting at the seems. Wishful thinking would have it stuffed with money and this would be a poor me / 1st world problem tagged post then. I just seem to have a billion cards, receipts, a sterling 2p coin for me trolley in Tesco. The list goes on. I need all this stuff. I think. Awhile back i had got really sick of my usual handbags. Yes i loved how they looked and styling them with outfits. Carrying them, not so much. Id taken to switching to really small bags or…

This now infamous day was once only something our neighbours across the Atlantic went wild for. Black Friday takes place every year on the day after Thanksgiving. A day where stores put on discounts or special offers. I learnt of the phenomenon through my addiction to good-bad TV. Extreme Couponing showed folk sleeping out in the cold to be first in line when the stores opened. There was actual stampedes and serious tactics used all to bag a good deal. In the past few years, the craze arrived on our shores. After seeing how much of a success it was more and more stores began getting involved. Black Friday now goes on ’til Tuesday now lol. With the inclusion of ‘Cyber Monday’. It is perfect timing…

And now back to our regular scheduleded programming. #OPTW is back after it’s holidays. Taking this one patterned shirt €14.99 from H&M and styling it 10 ways.       A vibrant print featuring some of the coming seasons big colours. H&M had a lot of dark red/wine/burgundy tones that went really well. These made up lots of looks that could work throughout the A/W. This will be a great shirt for those going back to college or a Saturday shopping. Dressed up or down. Under jumpers. Tied in a knot with a highwaisted skirt. Any takers? ♡     Shirt €14.99 Leather Jacket €39.99 Hat €4.99 Brogues €39.99 Jeans €39.99 Bag €39.99 All H&M     Shirt €14.99 Ripped…
