I know it’s sooooo bad for you but coke is like my favourite thing in the whole world. *Queue the lectures*. It’s my vice. I just can’t help my love for those bubbles. Despite warnings from my late Nanny – ” Give up that Coke look what it did to Robbie Williams”. Wrong coke nan sorry. Following on from a childhood phenomenom of school trips to the Coca-cola factory – “Give that girl a can of coke” and collecting bottle labels religiously for merchanise, the feeling has not left me. As you know in the fashion world things always come full circle. Vintage is cool darling! With retro trends still reigning supreme and logos huge in fashion, it was only a matter of time before the tee’s came back “in style”. If they were to appear anywhere it would be on instagram. Low and behold… Coca Cola Tshirts.
Coca Cola TShirts
The kings of vintage esque cool, Wildfox where running lots of Coca-Cola styles when i originally compiled this post two years back. A little more customised than the original style with the drop arm hole. As always when pieces or styles come into “Fashion” a hefty pricetag comes with them. Being sold on ASOS for near €80. Nah not for this girl. Not when you can pick up something almost identical and style it how you wish. That is exactly what i did.
Whilst online doing some holiday shopping for Daddy bear on Sports Direct i came across some dirt cheap Cola tees. Perfect! At only €6 i had struck gold. It is always in the most unexpected places that you find the best treasure. I added two to the basket one in classic red and another in white with the infamous slogan. Those styles have since sold out but have no fear as good aul Penneys has come to save the day with their own offering. Since my original post there are way more options available with stores like Forever 21 , Pretty Little Thing and Asos all running ranges in homage to the classic drink.
I just cut the sleeves off myself. Two minute job to rival the high end brand version. Really cool and cheap as chips. You can get as creative as you want, buy a larger size and cut the arm hole down to fashion a cool beach cover up or belt as a tee dress. I’ve worn mine tucked into a denim skirt with a contrasting bandana neckercheif. Also under pinafore dresses with my Superstars. I love the look of retro tees belted into high waisted or mom jeans. Such a cool way to rock this piece. Here are some more ways to wear a coke tee.
There are more and more cool options popping up in many different stores. Just in time for festival season too. Get creative wear it your way.

I mean you don’t have to limit yourself to one fizzy drink either. It’s always nice to mix things up. I’ve came across a few options that all give that retro feel. That’s me drinking and rocking the cola. How about you?
