Happy Friday peeps! I’ve been thinking if i ever need a week to fly by, i just need to do a Fifty Friday post. It only feels like I’ve done the latest when it is time for this weeks edition. Speaking of the last post , i included a look featuring a slip style dress. These type of dresses are really popular at the moment. More wearable than you would first imagine too. Hey here is this weeks theme right there. Off in search of some affordable options i went and i was not disappointed. I hope you aren’t either.

You can see all details from last weeks post here.

Slip Dresses

Another trend borrowed from the 90’s era. A lot of stores and designers have pushed forward to make these more modern though than we have seen before. I can see blokes and some girls too looking at these dresses and thinking they are better off left in the bedroom. Underwear as outerwear has been a recurring trend through history. Done right you won’t look like you belong on a street corner honey.  Suitable for day or night wear depending on they styling and your tastes. Layering these pieces can significantly change the look of lacy , racy type clothing.  Weather it is as tee to keep the youthful vibe or a polo to keep cosy and warm. Be it cami or slip there are a lot of style points for these dresses and i for one am a fan.

Dress €14 River Island , Choker €4.99 and Clutch €14.99 New Look , Shoes €16 Boohoo .

Total Outfit = €49.98

A sleek, simple slip dress in the ever sought after colour of khaki. The A-symmetric hem adds a little something extra for a night out. I have added a lot of texture with the accessories. A velvet choker and animal print bag gives a little luxe for a night on the town in A/W.

Jacket €14 and Tee €4 Boohoo , Dress €22.99 New Look , Shoes €8 Penneys.

Total Outfit = €48.99

A really relaxed casual take on slip dresses that will work for day wear when paired with the right pieces. The printed bomber jacket adds some colour and fun, while the shoes keep the look current and young. Again layering up with a tee dresses down these slips and makes them really cool.

2 In 1 Dress €20 Boohoo , Bag €12 Penneys , Shoes €16 Boohoo.

Total Outfit = €48

A ready to rock all in one version that will have you cosy this winter. No need to go looking for layers. Quite a preppy sort of look i felt from this so i went for brogues on the feet to keep with the flow. Finishing with a backpack for both fashion and function.

There we have some affordable ways to wear slip and cami style dresses , day or night. What do you think? Are you a fan?
