Holly Willoughby is a lady who really knows her style and how to dress for her shape well. Really well. I have no issue admitting that i watch her and Phil everyday on This Morning. I’ll have a peak on Instagram too before hand to see what queen Holly is wearing that day. I personally think that she never gets it wrong when it comes to style. Although she has a really cool stylist – Angie, who sources pieces for her, she knows herself what works best on her own body.

Holly Willoughby Style
I wanted to start a new series on the blog looking at some style icons and recreate some of their looks. More so borrow rather than steal their style. Take some inspiration from ladies who have serious style and recreate the looks with pieces from the high street. I thought who better to start with then an excellent example of dressing for your shape with extreme comfort and poise. With Holly’s stint in the Jungle there have never been more eyes on her. I am going to try my best to update affordable alternatives and some of the actual pieces Holly is wearing.
Get Holly Willoughby’s Looks From Simply Be
Of late Holly has been seen wearing a lot of A-line shapes with knitwear tucked in, her signature printed dresses and lots of denim in the mix. Perfect for this time of year and very Holly. But i have to say i do love the edgier styles she is trying lately. Adding in tees and layering up in a really cool, modern way. I do love how Holly mixes high street in with higher end pieces too. It works really well for her. When i had the idea to put together these looks there was only one option – Simply Be. They are one of the most inclusive around for sizes and it means that so many of you could shop the post. I chose some looks that i would like to re-create and found some crackers on the Simply Be site to nail the look.
This is a style that Holly goes to quite frequently and one that works well for her. She adds knitwear in for Autumn / Winter as her top half with her usual A-line skirts. A chic and quite classic look that would work very well for a semi formal occasion this season. If i was office based i think this is something i would like to integrate into my work wardrobe. Switch up the jumper for a white collar shirt. Stylish, comfortable and very striking while still being office appropriate. This skirt would make a great statement piece to add into rotation. Dressed up or down. The clashing mixed prints are an added bonus to tick one of this seasons trends. Pair a tee or swap the skirt for a shorter number with the knit, both are looks Holly regularly rotates. I feel the shoes need a public service anouncement. They should be nude and i only realised i’d got silver instead when it was too late. You get the jist but. Think nude lol.

Denim Pinafore Dress
Denim is a huge part of Holly’s wardrobe. All of ours too i’m betting. A really hard working and versatile fabric that stands the test of time. An all season piece that will work hard for you, year in and out. Dress up or down, you know the jazz. This look was worn by Holly on I’m A Celebrity and one that i was like yep i’mma do that. Again taking two wardrobe staples, three if you count the boots, but somehow making them look really cool together. Layering a graphic tee under the dress with just a peek of the print showing gives a real 90’s vibe i feel. This is definitely a look that could be re-created by so many and slot into their wardrobes quite well. The boots where worn because Holly was in the Jungle but boots in general are huge at the moment, none more than buckle and laced styles. This being the reason i feel the full look will work for others. Layer knitwear under or over for the colder months with some tights.

Flowery dresses and Holly just go hand in hand. There was no way i could do this post without featuring at least one floral number. This look was from her I’m A Celeb wardrobe too, so also features buckled boots on the feet. Again styling tough boots with softer pieces is big business right now so it works. I could see this being worn on This Morning as well with her signature nude heels. It could easily be dressed up. The belt ties in with the hardware of the boots but it add a little something too. Both dresses i feel are very similar with the long sleeve and high neck details. The Simply Be option is a lovely fit with an elasticated waist for comfort while drawing the eye in. Again can be worn with tights when it is chilly or with some wedges come Summer time.

Denim Shirt Dress
This is an easy one for me because i don’t think i will ever not love denim shirt dresses. The second of two denim dresses in this post but it is in keeping with Holly’s style and something she has many of in her wardrobe. This particular dress sold out instantly after Holly wore it on TM. An instant hit and it is easy to see why. Not a big statement piece but something very timeless and classic. Worn here in a very chic way buttoned completely up with her trusty nude heels. It has so much potential for styling and can be worn so many ways. That is a post in itself right there. It is a clever way to integrate different fabrics and textures into your work wardrobe like HW has. It still looks really chic and professional but gives some edge.
Simply Be had a few denim shirt dresses to choose from. This one i chose has a shorter hem length but i feel it will work better for me in the long run. Holly’s dress is tailored to figure in but my choice has a belt which did just that for me. It works where you want it then and you have control of the shape. I’m wearing it here just as she did but i have serious plans for this one. Pop a jumper over and leave the length as a skirt with the collar and cuffs showing. Leave open over a tee and bicycle shorts for that trend driven Summer look. Pair the above boots and unbutton some buttons for a laid back, casual look. I like that you can wear the belt to the front or back. You could always add your own belt to mix things up too.

Red & Leopard Print
We had to have some animal print didn’t we. I mean you would have to be living in a cave on an island not to have got into the print frenzy. Red is one of my favourite things to wear with leopard. Such a nice combo and one you would have seen me wear here. Again this is a look that could be worn in the office for a little something different. Classic Holly styling with knitwear and an A-line skirt for the win. Finished with yet again some nude heels. All very true to her own style but playing with different colors and prints. Simply Be had a longer skirt in a leopard pattern, it’s actually the same skirt as in the first look but i felt it was a little long for me in that print. I opted for this very affordable option in a flirty hem finish. A great shape and fit with an elasticated waist. The silver shoes are very evident here. Please use your imagination LOL. Another look that can be adapted to suit you and your lifestyle or should i say the Irish climate by adding some tights and boots. A leather jacket on-top and wallah.

Here is a final look that could have easily put together too. How beautiful is that ochre tone?
There we have it – Are you a Holly lover? Let me know if you enjoyed this post and whose style you would like to see in coming posts.
