The last few weeks have got me really excited for Summer. My favourite time of year, to head off to the sun, wear pretty little dresses and make memories. Plans are being made, virtual baskets and wishlists are being filled. It got me thinking about last Summer and how amazing it was. I realised i never really shared these shots i took in Ibiza. Besides a quick trip to London , this was my first time bringing my camera away. I have the . I adore this so much and it is undoubtedly the best thing i ever bought. It was so much fun capturing these moments to treasure and look back on. I thought i’d put some of them together in a little photo diary here.
There are no filters on any of these pics apart from the title shot which had it’s moment on Instagram. When a place is this beautiful it needs no filters. Don’t get me wrong Ibiza is unreal for a night out and lord knows over the years I’ve had some amazing times that i will never forget. Nights that turned into mornings. Eating dinner next to Roger Sanchez was pretty cool. Meeting David Guetta In Pacha pre-mainstream fame stands out too. My personal highlight though was bumping into Martin Fowler from Eastenders also in the VIP Of Pacha and asking “who’s minding the stall”. I mean it went down like a lead balloon but course i think i’m a comedian. God i remember what i was wearing too. There was kitten heels and beads rocked, white of course. Oh the shame. But there is also another side to the island. One that i knew prior to the party era of my life. You can see here the sheer beauty the Baleric Island has to offer. A world famous sunset that everyone should experience at least once in their life.
The first time i was in Ibiza was 20 years ago. It only seemed right to choose it as the destination to spend my 30th birthday. Throughout the years we have been been back and forth as a family. I ventured alone with friends then once i thought i’d outgrown family holidays. We have stayed in several parts of the island including San Antonio Bay , Playa Den Bossa , Ibiza Town , Port De Torrent , San Antonio Itself and most recently Es Canar. To be honest I’ve things i love about each. The white isle isn’t that big so you can easily travel between towns, in fact you can pretty much drive the whole island in over an hour. Whichever size you choose you are guaranteed the perfect relaxation/fun balance.

There is also a little video i put together of my trip if you fancy a look. I am really enjoying using my camera to create memories to keep forever.
Ibiza, forever in my heart.
