Back with a fresh Look Of The Day today. A pretty stylish outfit if i do say so myself. The main focus of this look has to be this skirt from ZARA. The embroidery trend is gaining more momenta moving on from the 70’s folklore trend. Beautiful needle work and detail is being added to just about everything. That is just fine by me and this skirt is a prime example of why. This skirt is a great statement piece that i feel will tradition well between seasons.
By right you could pick any colour from this pattern to pair a top with. I went for light blue as we are seeing a lot of this in the shops at the moment. A flattering off the shoulder neckline with separate choker included. The cut and flow on the sleeves and is just stunning. This denim type top is from Romwe , an online retailer from the Far East. The sizing can be hit and miss so make sure you check out the sizing charts and read the descriptions before ordering. A great affordable buy, if you don’t mind waiting a little longer for delivery.
While it is still Summer, kind of, i went with tan platforms and bag to match. These compliment the blue colour well and pull the rusty/tan tone from the skirt too. Moving into Autumn / Winter tights and a knit polo will look really well with this skirt. This look would be really cool for festivals with some boots and a leather jacket. I like to style up pieces that not only look great together but work well as separates too. The blue of this top is just made for throwing on with jeans and killer heels for a really put together outfit. All in all i like this look a lot. How about you?
