Basically a what i wore on my return to Morocco post. A lookbook really but that title was already taken so here is my Marrakech wardrobe. A quick run through of the looks i sported and my plans for them in the future. I worked on two other posts while in Marrakech that you can have a look too. I’ll share some highlights below but there will be so much more pics and info in the individual posts themselves. Firstly a real life Fifty Friday with outfits for under €50 from Penneys. And secondly some looks from Simply Be where i featured pieces that will hopefully help curvy girls cheat their way through Summer. The Curvy Girls Cheat Guide To Summer Dressing. Do have a goo i had lots of fun as always working on these posts.
I think this is the happiest i’ve ever been with a holiday wardrobe. Lots of bright colours, prints and great shapes. Definetly the most comfortable and most ‘me’ suitcase that i’ve ever packed. A mix of mainly dresses with some short additions. No skirts which i suppose is the only shocker. All pure comfort because that is what i’m striving for nowadays. Light and cool with no sacrafices.
Finally getting to wear this floaty number from H&M. It feels like ages ago i showed ya’s. So light and airy. Lots of buffet belly room too. It is very similar to the green one that i bought earlier this season. I loved that so much that when i saw this option i jumped on it. It has a wide and loose smock fit to it. Perfect for the heat. I wore it with lace up midi heels here but it could easily be worn with flat gladiators too.
Almost too pretty to be a cover up. But when your days are this hot and spent by the pool you may aswell have beautiful cover-ups to sport. The pretty detail and stitching really fitted Marrakech well i thought. Having a cold shoulder was the winning detail for me. This is a piece i will pull put Summer after Summer as i feel these styles don’t date.
I shared this dress before heading away and had said i would be bringing it with me to wear differently. I am a woman of my word and did just that. Previously i styled this drop waist number from V By Very with DM style boots but i knew it would be cute with sandals and a straw bag. Loose, airy, comfy is the theme of this holiday. Drop waists are really figure friendly and again great for comfort in the heat. The print is really different and i loved the colour. I know this will slot into my wardrobe as a tunic and will be worn with tights and boots later on in the year. Add on a leather jacket and i’ve easily updated a Summer look.
I have been on the hunt for a well fitting but pretty. Any that i have seen and or tried just didn’t have the support i needed. The ones that came close where more like just normal bras. While picking the looks for my curvy Summer collaboration with Simply Be i came across this lace wonder. It fits like a dream. Roomy if anything. It doesn’t cut into me and keep Phil & Grant afloat. The lace detailling comes up high on the straps and low under the bust. Yeah it looks and feels great on as a bra in itself but what i wanted it for was for under things. To be seen more or less. Under deep necklines and sheerer pieces. The trim just adds a little something. If your bra is gonna be seen it may aswell be a showstopper. It looks so pretty peering out just from the neckline of the Neon Rose mix print dress.
It’s €25 which i think is so reasonable and affordable for a fuller bust / plus bolder holder, especially of this quality. It goes from a 36C to a 48DD. It’s not alone on the site either so well worth a look. Theres matching bottoms too. I’m in need of some new day to day bras so ill be hitting up the multi packs next.
There is a hole seperate post on this lemon dress and lemon print in general right here if you like the look of this fruity pattern. A cute option for hitting the mixed print trend for Summer too.
Another outting for this sold out patterned floor lenth number. I never thought i’d see the day that i would love a maxi dress so much. The fit is just like nothing i’ve ever worn this length before. Not like anything i’ve even imagined. Just goes to show you should never totally rule out something, if it’s the right style it will work for you. I kept it simple with the bag i got especially for this dress. Finished off with some chunky sandals and dinky chains. More comfort.
The comfort collective continues. Bardot sleeves and elasticated waist? I’ll say no more. Actually i will, i love the colour of this one against the print. The neckline sits like a dream too.
My go to style of bikini bottoms. The frill panel masks the extra padding i have in that area and leaves me feeling the best i can while in the sun. Really comfy and doesn’t roll down. No one pieces here i wanna get my tan on.
That’s it for the round up on my Marrakech wardrobe. It hopefully might serve as some inspiration for any upcoming trips you might have. A few pieces have been reduced you might grab yourself a few bargains.
