Kusadasi , Turkey | Travel Photo Diary

Here is a quick look at my recent trip to Kusadasi in western Turkey in the form of a photo diary. This is by no means a travel blog but from time to time it is nice to mix things up and keep it interesting. I do love photography and wish i had more opportunities to snap away so i try to take advantage when i am anywhere worthy. Just a small few pics that really don’t even show a fraction of what the place has to offer. Kusadasi is situated on the Aegean coast of Turkey. A vibrant city filled with culture and fun. It is modern, good value for money and as you can see very beautiful. I personally believe…

Fifty Friday | H&M Summer Sale

Sale season is well and truly upon us. Everywhere you look there is a neon sign or % off catching your attention. It can be a such a chore to cift through sale rails. Aint nobody got time for that. Most pieces that get reduced have limited sizes left which can be so annoying. I have found though whilst doing my daily online sweep of my fave stores that the H&M sale is quite decent. It is not bitty or full of crappy pieces. I am still on the holiday buzz with Summer styles all that i am looking at. You can see my own holiday outfits here and here.   For this installment of Fifty Friday i was able…

Turkey | What I Wore – Holiday Looks

Jetting off to the sun is my absolute favourite thing to do. You cannot beat the feeling of the sun on your shoulders and the sand between your toes. Summer is my favourite season and i adore dressing for it. The planning that goes into my holiday wardrobe is something else. I love putting together outfit possibilities, making lists of things i want need or want to try out together. Usually i start picking up bits by the week and putting them away that way you don’t feel it as much. Especially with swimwear and flip-flops etc. Those fly out. Come August you can struggle to find the most basic of sun shop pieces. I say usually cause this year was…

Penneys Holiday Wardrobe

In typical me fashion this trip was very last minute. As i’d been saying of late, i hadn’t even really started on a holiday wardrobe at all. I usually pick up bits by the week and thereby i don’t feel it that much. After the past two Summers though i felt i was absolutely sick of what i had when it came time to go and i wanted all the new stuff out. In the end i would have way too much stuff and be disappointed that i couldn’t wear it all. As we know the weather here in Ireland doesn’t give us much opportunity to sport our Summer threads prior or post holiday. It was panic stations for me to…

What The F Word?

I get asked a lot about my blog name. Mostly people get what the F stands for and are interested in how i came up with the name or why i chose it. Fashion is my first love. When i think about it, it is all i know and all I’ve ever done really. So with that being said i would hope the F would be a self explanatory play on words. There are others though who get deep about it and I suppose on a subconscious level there was more to it. I have gone backwards and forwards with this one for the longest time. This has been a huge part of me and for a long time it…

Summer Beauty Essentials

When i say Summer what i really mean is holidays because Summer for me is holidays. The feel of the heat on your skin, the smell of sun cream , cocktails by the pool and pretty little dresses. It is by far my favourite season and time of year. That being said it does throw up a whole host of first world problems. The heat is my best friend in so many ways but also leaves me a sweaty mess. Words can not describe the state of my hair and the sheer level of frizz that comes with it. I am in no way a beauty buff or expert, infact when it comes to beauty i suck. That being said i have found little…

Fifty Friday | Communion Looks

Communion season is well and truly here. After dressing the little ones , panic usually sets in and Mammys , Aunties , Nannys , You name it , realise they haven’t got a thing in for themselves. I think we put a lot of pressure on this occasion and really build it up. Of course it is the little ones big day but over thinking and stressing over an outfit can get really out of hand. You want to be church appropriate but comfortable throughout the day and probably not something you will cringe looking back at photos in years to come.   This weeks Fifty Friday subject therefore is affordable looks to wear to a Communion. There is enough…

Fashion Favourites | March & April

A look back at the pieces I’ve been loving and things that I’ve been wearing the most the past two months. March and on into April the weather is so bipolar. Dressing for that kind of weather is a nightmare. For this reason i haven’t been too wildly exciting on the style front day to day. In saying that i had a family wedding and a special blog collab that i had some really pretty pieces to wear. I still have my favourites though and it’s those that i have been living in. These posts are so fun to do. To look back through my Instagram to see the stand out pieces and go to looks of late. Always handy to…

Littlewoods Ireland Launches V By Very Curve

You probably heard my screams of delight when i found out the news that V by Very were launching their own curve section. It was on par with that ” I have elbows ” scene from F•R•I•E•N•D•S. If you don’t get that reference, i am not your friend. But yes so there i am absolutely loving life at the Littlewoods Ireland  Spring Summer launch for the main range when i spotted the sign. I dared not blink in case my eyes were deceiving me. Nope there it was in big old plain english V by Very Curve. I could ramble on for a few paragraphs here with several cliches of Hallelujahs and lights shinning down from the heavens but i think…

V By Very SS17

I was absolutely delighted to attend media launch for the V by Very Spring Summer collection Last month. Littlewoods is one of my favourite online stores and they always put on a great event. The event was held in the stunning Morgan Hotel. The set-up was really cool i have to say the attention to detail was amazing. I was so excited to get a sneak peak at the new season collection, if A/W was anything to go by i knew i was in for a treat. The show itself has a really fun, vibrant feel to it. There where three main trends seen. Sports Luxe showed retro athleisure pieces re-spun with some modern fabrics. A cool streetstyle vibe that is…
