I have very vivid memories of me rocking around Butlin’s back in the day with a silver spiral band on my upper arm. Serious 90’s child trying to get in on the trend. Probably should have been born in the 70’s really. Armlets have never really gone away, they just became more bohemian, a beach-life style. Two summers ago i was searching high and low for some really cool arm cuffs to not much look. I resorted to making my own. Thanks to the gorgeous boho vibes this season is bringing, stuff i usually lust for are litterally falling at my feet. Look how beautiful and carefree these look. Most of the High Street has got in on the action doing…
One of My favourite pieces from my wardrobe is this ASOS quilted jacket. It was a sell-out if i remember right. I wanted it for sooo long, There was a skirt too which i never managed to get my hands on.Insert sad-face. I love this because it is a cool statement piece but also a staple as i can wear it all year. Being quilted it gives some warmth layered in winter but its not that heavy that you cant wear it in summer. I do like quilting in general, its rich. The colour and print are great, i can match or clash so much with it. It has a bomber type look so can be really cool but also the…
I saw the bag below and it reminded me of something i have done for years. Adding a scarf to your handbag is a great styling trick. It adds colour and can create an expensive look to an old or bargain bag. This one has it done for you in the style of a small little silk scarf bow. This is something you can experiment with and do yourself. I invested in this Gucci scarf just before i finished up working with them. It was an investment as i can wear in so many ways. Look how its adds to and changes this €20 River Island bag. The print is one of my favourite ever from them, i loved the collection as a…

These wide leg wonders are making a comeback. If you remember or throw back to about 3 years ago these were around for awhile. Trousers and culottes have gained popularity and are going nowhere. There are several styles to these and ways to wear these. There are 70’s retro vibes, boho gypsy vibes and chic city slicker. The key to nailing these pants is all about the top you pair with them. Keep your top half slimline to balance out the proportions. A crop top, tie hem tee or tucked in blouse/shirt. Adding anything over-sized will swamp your frame and look sloppy. Don’t worry that your height or shape isn’t right for this style. Almost anyone can wear these. Bigger…
