Throwback Thursday – Clueless

Thursdays are my chance to throwback through the years at some style icons. more admittedly some unlikely icons also. The 90’s revival has been huge this year. So much time has passed its now vintage! This got me thinking about one of my fav films of all time from the 90s – Clueless.   Every girl has dreamed of having Cher’s epic wardrobe- who could forget the rotating colour ordered rails and computer system for building outfits…..A girl can dream (sigh).   This 1995 classic boasts a massive 41 costume changes for the main character Cher Horowitz. Look below for a movie montage of all her outfits in just one minute-A must see! I’m feeling very nostalgic thinking about the scene in…

Festival Fashion #2

For my second Festival outfit i have gone a little tougher. This look will also be better for colder/wetter times (Shudder).Camo jackets are still going strong and a great look for festivals. I loved the denim revival this summer brought and thought how to do festival denim without going for the usual shorts. This denim dress is pretty but cool against the boots. The boots are a play on the traditional wellies with these high-top Doc Martins Drench Wellington boots. They are both fashion and function which is the name of the game really. The accessories really tie this look together. The blogger classic bowler hat just oozes cool. The fringe backpack keeps your hands free for dancing and ahemmm *coughs* beverages.…

Festival Fashion #1

I haven’t been lucky enough to be going to any festivals this year (insert sadface). Didn’t stop me from compiling outfits for the occasion but. Here is my first pick of the pile “a break in-case of  miracle” if u will, and we happen to blessed with warm weather. I am loving the kimono trend that has dominated this summer. This New Look lace and fringe number ticks all the boxes. Denim shorts are a fail-safe for festivals so goes without saying.I am head over heels literally for these gladiators-HIGH-5 RIVER! I absolutely love everything about them. minus the rain means minus the muck at festivals allowing these babies to be rocked. A simple white vest accompanied by a lion chain…

Rita Ora the new face of DKNY

Errrrrrm WOW! Now this is a campaign. Following in the footsteps of best friend Cara Delevigne, Ms Ora took to New York to shoot the brands campaign for Resort 14. The Party and b*llsh*t singer proved both her fashion and modelling credentials with these amazing pictures for powerhouse DKNY.  These looks are styled very typical to Rita and emulate down-town New York’s edge and coolness. I love a good campaign and this one certainly did not disappoint. I admit to having a slight girl crush on Rita – as an avid follower of her Instagram account, she is never short of an on-the-money outfit or a flawless face.  Facebook Comments
