It was last week when this little beauty buy came onto my radar. One of those a friend of a friend told me things. My handy to have little sister flew to our local Lidl and picked me up one. Parting with a mere €14.99 for the ultimate relaxed, soft beach waves, was something i was more than glad to do. Let me just say that i suck at doing hair, my own more than any. Finding a tool that aids me with this in any way is always welcome in my eyes. I am really happy with my new shorter cut so i figured this wand could create that much desired perfect Summer hair. Yes aesthetically this does look like another type of device some ladies would own. But hey whatever works. For my hair i mean.

Cheap hair curler

The positives with this product totally out-weigh it’s price. It Heats up in just one minute so there is no hanging around waiting. Unbelievably handy for getting ready when you are running late (me) or going out last minute (not so much me, i’m 90). The ridges make it really easy to use especially for those like me. Simply take a small section of hair and wrap it around the ridges. Hold for a couple of seconds and wallah. There is a clamp to hold the hair in place while styling if desired. My hair is not long enough for this so i am truly using it as a wand and not your standard curler. It is very quick and easy to use. By wrapping your hair around each ridge the curl will be tighter and closer together. For those loose, soft waves i would skip a ridge each time you wrap. The image here shows how the wand styles the hair. The strand nearest the face was wrapped around almost every second groove and held for a few seconds. For the other strand it shows the end result after brushing the same curl out. Really soft, relaxed waves.

Easy Beach Waves

The wand itself was released as a special buy back in 2016 but has been rereleased. From what i gather it was quite popular but there was still some left. After posting the image on Facebook, it was an instant success. So many ladies felt the same as i did and had to have this bargain buy. Lidl have fantastic customer service, some much so that you can call them and they will text you with the stores local to you that have the product you desire. I know some of you have been lucky enough to nab one but there was quite a few of you who weren’t so lucky last time round. This bad boy is still one of the most searched for posts on the blog so i am delighted that it has been restocked.

I still use mine and find it as good, if not better then when i first used this bargain. I would not hesitate to recommend this tool. Not only is it really easy to use but it is very affordable.

It’s only in the last year that I’ve let my hair growth, had a bob style for years, now with longer hair I’m starting to try new styles/looks.

At the moment I’m on honeymoon in Cyprus, it’s very hot even in the evenings, so I’ve been doing pony tails with a quiff to the front, keeping the sides sleek and tight.

Still getting used to my longer hair, dying to try wavy curls, messy bun……… If I am lucky enough to win I would give this prize to my amazing sister Zarah xx. A fantastic mother to her 4 kids and my best friend x

Bloody raging I didnt pick one of these up. If I had known they were this good. Ive attempted the waves with ghd and ended up with frizzled curls of a variety of lengths then had to straighten over my efforts. Disaster. This would jazz up a tired bob til it intends to grow!
