Yours Clothing is a long established size inclusive brand. Until recently it was only available online for Irish shoppers though. The first Yours store opened on Irish soil in The Square Tallaght last year. I am very lucky that this is my local shopping centre so have been able to have a good look and shop around. Anytime i post about the store on my social media, so many reply that love having the store in Dublin to be able to shop in. Those comments are equalled with cries for other stores within the Republic. I was delighted to find out that a new store was opening in Dublin city centre last week. You can find the new branch of Yours Clothing Ireland in the Ilac centre on Henry Street. This week gone too saw a new store opening in the Headford Road Centre in Galway.
Yours Clothing Ireland Stores
I was invited to come along to the recent openings however as i am still cocooning/sheilding it wasn’t possible. It would have been amazing to soak up the atmosphere though, i do miss the buzz of working in retail sometimes. Famous last words them lol. But shopping is an experience and a fresh, clean, stocked store is a dream.
The team asked me to pick some bits to style up to mark the ocassion so here we are. All are available in the new stores and of course online which i will link under the pics below. I chose some pieces that i thought would transition really well. Wear them now and easily through the Winter months. Things that would wear well and could be mixed and matched. You can’t go far wrong with a black dress and a check and/or denim shirt will wear well in a Winter wardrobe. This was my thinking below.
The dress is made from a really soft cotton, which we know is a breathable fabric so thumbs up there. It is flowy as a smock should be without being too tent-like. The fit i would say is true to size. Being a plus sized brand, Yours know how to make clothes for curves and larger figures. I didn’t think it to be too short (5 foot 4 1/2 inches over here) but had the shorts on and you can see them in some shots as i frolicked around being a top model on a field in Tallaght. Tights will work great so not much fear going forward. You could do leggings and boots too for pure cosy comfort.
The shirt was a no brainer for me. Not only are check shirt and shackets big business this season but so are mixed print shirts. They have so much potential with regards to styling but day to day are so handy for comfy, casual. With leggings or jeans. Layer with a polo neck underneath or with a pinafore over. Leave open over a dress or t-shirt, tie around your waist or button right up, the choice is yours. It has a nice oversized fit – i went for the size 22-24 as it was dual sized and have no complaints. It comes in other colours too which you can see here.
Shopable Looks From Yours
I won’t lie, i struggled to narrow down my choices on the Yours site. It was too easy to put cute looks together with really wearable pieces. I said i’d share some of the other options and choices that i had in mind for some shopping inspo.
To echo again it is great to see more inclusive stores open and especially in Ireland. Nice to be able to browse in a shop and not always shop online. You can find all of the branch details here. As always i link everything on the shopping tab above or here. Have you been to either of the new stores?
